Complete these steps

  1. Include a repair letter with the system before placing the system in the box. The letter should include:
    • Name, return shipping address, and phone number.
    • Repair order number.
    • A brief description of the problem you are having.
    • An itemized list of all the items you are including with your repair.
  2. Place the items in need of repair in a plain box and pad it well to prevent damage.

Important: The shipping box you use must not have any previous labels on it. If previous labels cannot be removed, they must be completely covered so that no part of the original label is visible.

    • Use a plain box (not padded envelopes or the original box that the item came in—the box you use will be recycled). Additionally, if there are other markings on the box or the box has been used, this could cause complications in the shipping process.
    • If you are sending a system, wrap it in clear kitchen cling wrap prior to packaging.
    • Unless the repair requires additional items, remove all games and any additional accessories.

Important: Your stickers and/or screen protector may not be returned depending on the required repair. Please attempt to remove all stickers and screen protectors prior to sending in your repair.

    • If you are sending a Nintendo 3DS family system, be sure to include the SD card. (You can leave it in the system.)
    • Place small items and games in a sealable plastic bag, if possible, to prevent loss.
  3. Attach the provided shipping label or Purolator Waybill to the box, or write the repair center's address on the outside of the box.
    • The repair address is included on the shipping label or letter you received when you set up the repair order.
    • You may find our information on filling out the Canadian Purolator Waybill helpful.
  4. Write your return address on the outside of the box.
    • For U.S. repairs, the repair order number should be written beneath the address.
