The Battlefield 1 subreddit. Battlefield 1 is developed by DICE and produced by EA. BF1 soundtrack from calpha audio files (14 minutes) (youtube.com) submitted 3 years ago. I actually really liked 4s theme and all of 3 (minus the main theme which I admit over did it) had such great sound design. You should upload it to sound. Battlefield 1’s sound features an impressive collection of weapons, a wide assortment of transportation options from horses to armored trains, and variable weather events. Battlefield 1 even offers Dolby Atmos playback for PC gamers. Orchestrating this epic audio undertaking is Bence Pajor, the audio director on Battlefield 1.
supvic- First off, huge newb to the Battlefield community and to this forum, so if this post isn't somewhere it belongs, feel free to move it. But onto what this thread is about. I've recently gotten my hands on the BF3 weapon sound files. Before you say anything, I do not plan on distributing these. I only wish to use them for myself.

I don't have this on PC so for those that do, is it possible to extract certain SFX and voices from the game? Are they located in the game directory as wav files? I'm in the middle of a compilation video so it'd be great if someone could rip a few for me. I'll share the video here once it's done, it's not your typical gameplay video that's for sure.

I think your best bet would be to try and record the sound live yourself. Sadly games dont come with any kind of mod tools or sdk's anymore so the only way you could find that out is by someone thats been doing it for years, or a dev.
It will be in one of the .cas files somewhere but i couldnt tell you how to extract one of those files.
EDIT. http://www.openthefile.net/extension/cas [openthefile.net]
theres a starting point for you. Hope that helps.

I believe the audio files are in the BFH/Data/Win32 folder and their extensions are .sb and .toc

I don't have the game on PC which is why I'm asking here. I've got it on PS4 but recording the sounds is impossible because there's always something going on in the background.
